Biodiversity is my driving force.

Bringing nature closer to people’s lives.

Toni, in his garden

Since the age of eight

At eight he asked for one birthday gift: a small piece of land next to the house to start his own garden. Today he looks after more than 2,500 species, and every one of them has taught him something.

How Toni works

A garden that doesn’t fight the summer.

  1. Toni working in the Malgrats garden, by the sea01

    Listen to the place.

Soil, wind, salt and the August sun decide which plants belong there.

  2. Purple and red flowering bulbs from Toni’s collection02

    Choose species that belong.

Mediterranean and similar climates, tested first in his own garden.

  3. A meadow of white gaura and stipa grasses at sunset03

    Let it grow.

Just enough drip irrigation, less upkeep, and a garden that changes every season.

Med-bulbs

One of the largest bulb collections in the world.

Bulbs, corms, rhizomes and tubers store their energy underground and wait for their moment. Toni has collected them since he was a child.
